This trade would benefit both teams. Knicks desperately need front court help, and Fareid would fill that void nicely. As for Denver, they would be acquiring a player with star potential. Shumpert is already one of the best perimeter defenders in the league, and he can score the ball. This would give Shumpert a chance to finally shine, and not be buried on a depth chart with nothing but shoot first players.
