Super Sophomore Marcus Smart dazzles vs #11 Memphis

In a night where NBA superstar Kevin Durant was in attendance, the future lottery pick Smart put on a show. Making his presence known from the tip-off, he showed everybody why he would of been a sure-fire top 5 pick in last years NBA draft. With a surprising decision to return for his Sophmore year to refine his game, Smart has become somewhat overlooked this season, with freshmen like Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker and Julius Randle stealing the headlines so far. Well, last night he outshined all of them, going for 39 points 4 rebounds and 4 assists in Ok States win over #11 Memphis.

It seemed like a statement game for the talented sophomore. He showed off a little bit of everything in his arsenal and put himself right back in that top 5 discussion. It’s not every year you see a supremely gifted 6’4 220 pound point guard NBA prospect. Be on the lookout for this kid, this is just the first statement of many he’s going to make this year.
